research priority

This research recommendation isn't designed to make you strong as quickly as possible, but rather to help you plan for the long term so that you can ultimately become strong faster than others.

1. Combat Expertise

This research is very fast. You should research at least the 3% build rate here.

2. Arms Race Commendation

This has the highest priority afterward, as this research unlocks important rewards in every Arms Race event. The Arms Race Commendation also offers a 20% bonus to construction. It is more cost-effective than the bonus in the “Growth” area.

3. S1 Tech

Here, you should research at least the total 50% research speed and the additional rewards. (This research is only available in Season 1, so priority 3 is given. If you don’t have Season 1 yet, skip to point 4.)

4. S2 + S3 Tech

Here, at the beginning, you should concentrate on researching the “Seasons Boost I”, the “Research speed” research and the “Task Ticket cost reduced”. (Some researches here need dragon essences. you can best use these at the “regular event” which usually takes place at SvS and KvK on monday and tuesday to collect points).

5. Growth

It’s not necessary to reach all levels, but to complete all buffs for construction and research. Research has a higher priority. Research is time-consuming. The buff prevents wasted time.

6. Arms Race Prep

This area provides a soldier level +1 at the end. This +1 is independent of the castle level. This gives you an advantage.

7. Soldier

The Soldier area is also important, as the entire “Premium” area requires 100% Soldier research.

8. Queue Boost

Here you should research at least March Size.

9. Hero + Premium + Master

This research is for further boosting your troops. You should only research “Premium” and “Master” during the SVS/KVK event on Mondays and Tuesdays, because both requires dragon essences. Using dragon essences on these days will give you points in the regular event. On the other days, you can then continue researching “Hero.” (For “Master,” you need a tree in “Premium” at 100%)
